I wrote this prayer to remind me that Jesus, is my Defender. Arise in me was a cry for God to rise above all that I was going through. I wanted Him to be above all that I was thinking so that I could begin to think only about Him. I wanted my mind to be renewed at the mention of His glorious name. The battles are tough and they are everyday all day long. But God, in His grace allows me to go from discouraged to encouraged, from feeling unhappy to feeling joyful, from feeling defeated to feeling victory. When He arises in me I feel His presence. My life is filled with peace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, I pray that You would arise in me. Arise above all that I am for I am nothing and You are everything. Arise in me and take the doubts, fears and defeats and turn them into truth, faith and victory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
