WELCOME!

Hello Ladies,

I have longed to be able to have the ability to encourage you in the midst of some very dark times. Through much prayer, by God’s grace He has given me that opportunity. I am so excited to share with you. I hope and pray that you can move from darkness to His amazing light! Know that “God will always bring His glory to your gloom…you need just to cry out to Him!” No matter how dark your life seems to be God will bring light to it. Isaiah 9:2 The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined. This light is Jesus! And I want to say He changed my darkness to light!

I have been through depression, anxiety, addictions, loneliness, hopelessness, discontentment just to name a few. I have worked hard at being a perfectionist, controller and being very prideful and doing everything myself. I felt very inadequate, unworthy and unloved. I thought failing at things made me a failure and would amount to nothing. But God, is much more than all these things. He gives life, joy, peace, and contentment. He loves me no matter how I look at myself, He sees me so differently…He looks at my heart. 1 Samuel 16:7b “For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

My post will come as God leads and I seek Him in prayer and ask for His guidance and words to speak. The beginning of healing is discovering God’s truth. My posts will be filled with God’s Word…it is the truth that triumphs over Satan’s lies. Exodus 14:14 “God will fight for you; you need only to be still!” Give God your battles!

I strongly believe in God, and it is my faith in Jesus Christ that changed my life. I believe that the Holy Spirit works in and through me. I believe in the Word of God, the Bible! I believe that prayer is essential to seeking God and being able to pour out our pain, and calling on Him in our darkest hour, and asking Him for strength, peace and comfort. Prayer is also essential in offering up thanksgiving to Him for being so faithful in never forsaking us but always being there for us in time of need! Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

I believe that God’s Word is essential in our lives. These two Scriptures say it all for me in regards to living life to it’s fullest. Psalm 119:93 I will never forget Your precepts, for by them you have given me life. Psalm 119:59 Consider how I love Your precepts; revive me, O LORD, according to Your lovingkindness. Why are these so important. Noahs Dictionary: The meaning of PRECEPTS: In a general sense, any commandment or order intended as an authoritative rule of action; but applied particularly to commands respecting moral conduct. The ten commandments are a few of the precepts for the regulation of our moral conduct. Precept is a general rule intended to regulate behavior or thought. This is why the Bible is so important…it helps regulate, control our thoughts and behavior. This is great, for example when I am not having a good day. I can go pray and read and my mood changes drastically. God’s love changes us!
